Day 5: Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall & Taipei 101

We were quite lost as to what we could do at SYS Memorial Hall. Fortunately, our trip there coincided with the exchange of guards and we had a more up-close experience of watching the guards than when we were at the Martyr's Shrine. After that, we walked to Taipei 101.

We went to Taipei 101, the landmark of Taipei, for the observatory tower. It cost about S$100 for 4 adults and 1 child to go up there. It was as I'd expected: tiny, ant-view of whatever that's below. It was mainly for the experience of going up the tallest building in the world.

It took just 37 seconds to reach the 89th floor. Unfortunately, I couldn't record the speed of how fast the lift moved.
