Day 6 (1 Dec) in Sweden: The Ice Hotel

Today we took a train from Narvik to Sweden's Kiruna Station

It was largely white snow on my right and huge mountains and lakes on the other side
We were hastened to board a coach where we were driven to have our lunch. I don't even have a picture of the place as it was too hurried.
It was pork

The blackcurrant panacotta left me with black bottom lips

It was 4pm and -14 degree celsius when we reached the ice hotel.
The guide explaining how the concept of ice hotel came about

The ice hotel has to be reconstructed every year as it melts every summer. The display and sculptures in the ice hotel would also be different each year.

A caucasian offered to help take a picture and video of us drinking from the ice cups.
He was very amused when we did the yum seng.

The ice hotel consists of 18 suites or rooms in which the beds were made of ice. Unfortunately, we didn't manage to view most of the rooms as the tour manager came to tell us that the Aurora was outside when we had half an hour left.

We ended up spending the rest of our time photographing ourselves with the Aurora.

My mother walked away before we could take a picture together
We had a forgettable dinner before we checked into our next hotel
