Coco was playing the song 'Little Teapot' on her piano the other day and she asked me,"Why does it say 'Tip me over and pour ME out'? How can you pour the teapot out?"
I happened to see the nursery rhyme on the LSP (Learning Support Programme) Room today as I was waiting to do my Timekeeper duty for the PSLE Oral. I decided to ask a fellow level-teacher and a P5 English teacher about this. I asked them if there's another way of interpreting it, like perhaps it's actually talking about the position in which the teapot was tilted.
The teachers were amazed at Coco's sharp eye for linguistic details.
And that reminds me what a gem of a little girl I have.
